Event and participation

October 12, 2026, 9 AM–1 PM Eastern, at BOOMBAH — A Fields, 3450 East Lake Mary Blvd, Sanford, FL 32773. The event is for ages 9–20. Limited spots available.

The $100 fee purchases one player’s attendance at this four-hour event. It is not Academy tuition and is not credited toward tuition. Quick Development Baseball Players Inc operates the event. QDBP Academy, LLC provides the training credit and handles Academy enrollment separately.

Log in or create an account, select or add the player, and complete the current age-appropriate participation agreement before continuing to Acuity to register and pay. A parent or natural guardian signs for a minor; an adult participant completes their own registration and agreement.

Three throws. One total.

Each player takes three throws. Add the points from all three throws to calculate the player’s total. The center hole is worth 10 points; the top, bottom, left and right holes are worth 5 points each; each corner hole is worth 3 points. The maximum total is 30 points. The player with the highest total wins, subject to the award eligibility requirements below.

A throw scores only when it passes cleanly through a hole. Contact with any line, divider or edge scores zero. A miss also scores zero.

Throwing distance follows age on the event date: ages 9–12 throw from 10 feet, ages 13–15 from 15 feet, and ages 16–20 from 20 feet.

Tied scores

Tied players each take a fresh round of three throws from their same age-band distance. Add only that round’s three throws; the higher round total wins. Repeat fresh three-throw rounds among the remaining tied players until there is one winner. The winner is determined by skill, with no drawing or random selection.

Who can receive the training credit

One eligible new athlete receives the full $4,500 Academy training credit. The winner must be a paid Open Day participant and enroll in an eligible QDBP Academy program. Existing Academy athletes are not eligible for this award.

The Academy guarantees the full $4,500 training credit regardless of how many paid event registrations are sold. It is a training credit, with no cash payout.

Programs, academic year and claim deadline

The credit can be used toward Elite Training Only, Elite Training Plus Camps, or Daytime Learning Seat.

Choose one academic year: 2026–27 or 2027–28. The credit cannot be split across the two academic years.

The winner must sign up and enroll to claim the credit by August 10, 2027. Academy enrollment is handled under its separate enrollment terms.
